Every year there are two moments to join a committee: one right after the formation period\, and another at t he end of the academic year\, just before summer. We’ll be hosting two C ommittee Interest Drinks on 14 October &\; 28 October at the Smitse\, where you can learn more about each committee and find the one that fits you best. Below is a short overview of the committees that will open up so on:   📚 Academy Committee In the Academy Committee\, you’ll get the unique opportunity to prepare and present academies to members of B&\; R Beurs. You’ll learn the art of public speaking\, deepen your investmen t knowledge and receive guidance from your fellow committee members. 🎉 Activities Committee The Activities Committee organizes all the social ev ents throughout the year. Last year’s highlights included beer and wine tastings\, the Beach BBQ\, Christmas Dinner\, themed drinks\, a Pub Crawl\ , and the Beer Cantus. The challenge? Keeping every event fresh\, fun\, an d accessible! 📘 Almanac Committee We have two holy books in our society : the Investment Guide and the Almanac. As part of this committee\, you’ ll be responsible for writing and designing this yearly “bible” of our society\, capturing all the memories of the year together with your team . 🥂 Alumni Committee The Alumni Committee organizes several events for our alumni\, such as drinks and sports tournaments. The committee also bra instorms ways to engage and connect with our alumni network\, helping to e xpand it even further. 💼 Career Committee Would you like to help member s boost their careers and connect them with internships or job opportuniti es? Then the Career Committee is the place for you! You’ll develop your people skills\, build lasting networks\, and gain valuable professional ex perience\, all while supporting others in their career journey. 🌍 City Trip Committee The City Trip Committee organizes one of the highlights of the year\, the annual B&\;R Beurs city trip! You’ll work together t o choose the destination\, plan the activities\, and make sure everyone ha s an unforgettable experience abroad. 📰 Editorial Committee The Editori al Committee keeps the association updated on the world of finance. You’ ll write articles for our two magazines\, including the IW&\;S Symposiu m edition\, and contribute in-depth pieces on current financial and econom ic topics. ✨Gala Committee Ever dreamed of organizing a night to remembe r? Join our Gala Committee! This is your chance to be part of a team that plans and brings to life the most spectacular event of the year. Not only is it a great way to develop your skills\, from event planning to teamwork \, but it’s also a lot of fun and a chance to make lasting memories with fellow members. 💡 Investment Week &\; Symposium Committee This comm ittee organizes the biggest student investment event in the Netherlands! Y ou’ll collaborate with another association to create a week full of insi ghts into finance\, covering topics like Private Equity\, Trading\, Asset Management\, M&\;A\, and Hedge Funds. The event will take place in May. 📣 Marketing Committee The Marketing Committee supports the Marketing O fficer and other committees by designing and promoting content for B&\; R Beurs events. It’s the perfect place to flex your creativity and help shape the association’s image. 🤝 Professional Events Committee You’ ll organize the Career Cycles\, events that connect students with industr y professionals\, offering opportunities to expand knowledge and boost car eer prospects in the finance sector. 🧩 Project Management Committee As part of the PMC\, you’ll assist in planning and executing B&\;R Beurs events such as the UNICEF Drink. You’ll also brainstorm and develop new projects and collaborations for the association.
