Every year there are two moments to join a committee: one right after the formation period\, and another at t he end of the academic year\, just before summer. We’ll be hosting two C ommittee Interest Drinks on 13 October &\; 20 October at the Smitse \, where you can learn more about each committee and find the one that fit s you best. October 13th: 16:30 - 18:00 October 20th: 17:00 - 18:30 Below is a short overview of the committees that will open up soon:   📚 Aca demy Committee In the Academy Committee\, you’ll get the unique opportun ity to prepare and present academies to members of B&\;R Beurs. You’l l learn the art of public speaking\, deepen your investment knowledge and receive guidance from your fellow committee members. 🎉 Activities Comm ittee The Activities Committee organizes all the social events throughout the year. Last year’s highlights included beer and wine tastings\, the S occer tournament\, themed drinks\, a Pool tournament\, a Pub Crawl\, and t he Beer Cantus. The challenge? Keeping every event fresh\, fun\, and acces sible! 📘 Almanac Committee We have two holy books in our society: the I nvestment Guide and the Almanac. As part of this committee\, you’ll be r esponsible for writing and designing this yearly “bible” of our societ y\, capturing all the memories of the year together with your team. 🥂 Alumni Committee The Alumni Committee organizes several events for our alu mni\, such as drinks and sports tournaments. The committee also brainstorm s ways to engage and connect with our alumni network\, helping to expand i t even further. 💼 Career Committee Would you like to help members boost their careers and connect them with internships or job opportunities? The n the Career Committee is the place for you! You’ll develop your people skills\, build lasting networks\, and gain valuable professional experienc e\, all while supporting others in their career journey. 🌍 City Trip C ommittee The City Trip Committee organizes one of the highlights of the ye ar\, the annual B&\;R Beurs city trip! You’ll work together to choos e the destination\, plan the activities\, and make sure everyone has an un forgettable experience abroad. 💡 Investment Week &\; Symposium Commi ttee This committee organizes the biggest student investment event in the Netherlands! You’ll collaborate with another association to create a wee k full of insights into finance\, covering topics like Private Equity\, Tr ading\, Asset Management\, M&\;A\, and Hedge Funds. The event will take place in May. 📣 Marketing Committee The Marketing Committee supports t he Marketing Officer and other committees by designing and promoting conte nt for B&\;R Beurs events. It’s the perfect place to flex your creati vity and help shape the association’s image. 🤝 Professional Events Co mmittee You’ll organize the Career Cycles\, events that connect student s with industry professionals\, offering opportunities to expand knowledge and boost career prospects in the finance sector. 🧩 Project Management Committee As part of the PMC\, you’ll assist in planning and executing B&\;R Beurs events such as the UNICEF Drink. You’ll also brainstorm a nd develop new projects and collaborations for the association.
