Aalto Investments is all about bold bets and good times. We are a diverse group of international and Dutch students from various study programmes, but with a shared passion for investing, hands-on learning, and social gatherings. We're focused on medium-to-high risk individual stock bets, but we do meddle in diversification strategies when volatility becomes too hot. We have weekly deep-dive meetings which feature market updates, stock pitches, and portfolio strategy changes. We encourage honest criticism/feedback and rigorous discussion at every point, as we are here to learn from each other. Although Aalto is at times serious, it is also so much more than just analysis and meetings. We truly invest in the members, building a close-knit community via social events such as bowling, beer tastings, quizzes and trips. We celebrate when we win and learn when we lose.
