Founded in 2015, Liquid Gold Investments consists of international-oriented bachelor and master level students with various backgrounds. The one thing that we all have in common is our passion for investing. In addition to a long-term value investing approach, the group trades in commodities, currencies, and derivatives, with a strong focus on the short/medium term. Through a strong and consistent performance, the group managed to win the B&R Beurs Optiver Investment Competition in 2016.
LGI meets every two weeks to exchange our thoughts about potential opportunities in the financial markets and propose new positions. Meetings are planned around vacations and exams weeks. Social activities are usually linked to the meetings, as we partake in B&R organized events, such as their biweekly “borrels” or drinks. On top of that, we like to organize our own events, such as laser gaming, escape rooms, and more!
