The US indexes have all been red in the last week, with most of the sharp falls coming on Friday. The S&P 500 closed on Friday at 5,827.04 points, down 2.6%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was also down 2.094%, closing at 41,938.45. NASDAQ saw the biggest drop of 3.48% with Friday’s numbers closing at 19,161.63. The Euro Stoxx 50 on the other hand, experienced a 1.71% increase to 4,977.26.
Commodities:
As of the 12th of January, gold prices per ounce are at 2,721 USD and silver prices per ounce are at 31.378 USD. Crude oil WTI is at 77.05 USD per barrel, Brent oil is at 81.20 USD, Natural Gas is at 4.247.
Crypto:
As of January 12th, Bitcoin was down to 94,533.6 USD from a high of 102,248.7 USD earlier last week, after a period of volatility in price. Ethereum was down to 3,267.3 USD, while BNB ended the day at 693.35 USD.
